COMMON ISSUES FOUND IN STORM WATER
- Storm water can become cracked or broken over time, often as the result of tree root intrusion or pipe damage. A broken storm water drain allows water to escape, flooding the soil around the drain in a heavy downpour.
Whilst not an immediate issue, overtime, exposure to this amount of water will moisten the ground and can create ground movement. In some cases, this can cause cracking or structural damage to your home. - Blocked storm water is often caused by a build-up of debris such as sticks, dirt and rubbish. This type of build over time, can cause water to back up and overflow from the drain. This can result in similar structural issues and cracking to your property.
